Learning to FORGIVE...

Sometimes it's hard to forgive. Actually alot of times it's hard to forgive. Sometimes its hard to realize you need to forgive. As humans we tend to put the blame on someone else. Or make the other person the "bad guy". In any and every situation there's at least 2 sides. As my mom always said...it takes 2 people to fight. So there's always someone YOU can forgive. You just have to come to that realization. And come to the place in your life that you  can honestly forgive someone. And it may not be an instant thing. It could take days, months, even years. And that's how my story is.     Not that I got into a fight with anyone...just that I didn't realize the need for me to forgive and move on from my past. I had to come to that realization. I finally realized that for many many years I had been living chained to that unforgiven past.    I was adopted at the age of 10....and before those 10 years of my life alot of things took place. 2017 At A Glance....

I have to say 2017 was a pretty awesome year on so many different levels....so many people and experiences....so I'm gonna take a couple of minutes to share all that has happened in this past year.                                     JAN.  January started off with a visit from our social worker who was apart of our adoption and all that went on....we hadn't seen her in a few years. It was so good to visit and catch up!!!      Then Brittany and Rosie both had birthdays. Other than that January was pretty slow..... FEB. MAR. APRIL. These 3 months were on the slower side. Which was good cause once summer came we were pretty busy. In February Marlie turned 6. In March Jon turned 14 and Jerry turned 13.....   April 2nd Mom took Edward and I to Mass to go to a concert. To see Danny Gokey, Casting Crowns, and Unspoken. My 3 favorite bands. We stayed the night in ...

Welcome to the Winslow House

Hi! My name is Elisha Winslow. I'm 18 and live in a family of 13. I wanted to start a blog to give you all a glimpse into some of our daily activities and what life is like living in a big family.  First off I'll tell you about my family.... This is my Dad (Glenn) and my Mom (Mary). They have been married for 29 years.  Now I'll tell you about all of my siblings...  My Dad is a self employed carpenter.
